The Hanging Gardens of Thuin

The Hanging Gardens are made up of 200 terraces which lead to the Biesmelle valley.

This listed site in Wallonia, dating back to the Middle Ages, was established on the southern side of the rocky promontory which supports the upper end of town, and even has its own kiwi tree ! Stunningly renovated in 2005, a multitude of paths and alleys will guide you on a journey that will take you back in time.

Visitors flock to Wallonia for the unique opportunity of seeing these gardens !
