The BioPark

There are currently more than 500 researchers and technicians work in the field of biomedicine at the Aéropole of Charleroi.

Divided between two research institutes of the Free University of Brussels, Institute of Biology and Molecular Medicine, Institute of Medical Immunology, the collective research center approved Immune Health and spin-offs, they contribute to define the medicine of tomorrow.

They try to understand and combat illnesses such as AIDS, cancer, allergies, sleeping sickness, conditions involving the nervous system and the immune system.
